The eye that tempted fate

Last week Kat managed to nearly gouge her eye out twice. First she tripped and feel face first into the train table. The corner of her eye split immediately and started bleeding. In this picture it is almost healed, but it looked pretty bad at the beginning. Mostly from all the screaming she was doing. We could tell it wasn't too deep though so we didn't take her to Urgent Care or anything. Then a few days later Greg took Kat & Brody grocery shopping and at the end of the trip as they were checking out, Brody managed to grab the pen at the cashier station and swipe Kat with it. I don't think he was intending to hit her, she just happened to be the unlucky victim. I need to get an eye patch for that girl just to be on the safe side :).
